Fairy Tales

Learners will be able to:

• Write an imaginative fairy tale or folklore story (such as a myth or legend) for creative & expressive purposes. • Use correct story conventions, including an opening, build‑up, problem, resolution, and ending. • Write for personal, exploratory, playful, imaginative and creative purposes • Brainstorm and develop ideas for characters, setting, and plot before writing. • Produce a first draft that shows a clear central idea, logical sequence of events & appropriate language features for the intended audience (e.g., magical elements, dialogue, descriptive detail).
