Measures of Central Tendency Question 1
Learners will be able to:
• Identify the mode in a set of data by determining the most common value. • Calculate the median in a set of data by arranging values in numerical order and finding the middlemost value, or the average of two middle values if there is an even number of data values. • Determine the mean (average) of a set of data by adding all the values together and dividing by the total number of data values. • Apply the formula for calculating the median: (middle value(s)) / 2. • Interpret the results of measures of central tendency, including mode, median, and mean.
