Factorial
Learners will be able to:
• Calculate the factorial of a given number using the notation n factorial. • Apply the definition of factorial to calculate specific values, such as 3! and 7!. • Determine the total number of possible four-digit codes that can be constructed with repetition allowed or not allowed. • Calculate the probability of randomly constructing a four-digit code divisible by five when repetition is allowed. • Use factorials to determine the number of ways in which objects can be arranged, such as seating arrangements for basketball and volleyball teams.
