Learners will be able to:

• Calculate the gradient of a line given its angle of inclination in degrees. • Identify that the gradient of a line is equal to the tangent of the angle it makes with the positive x-axis. • Determine the gradient of a line at an angle of 60 degrees to either the positive or negative x-axis, correct to one decimal place.
