• Identify the compound angle formulae for cos and sin. • Apply the compound angle expansion for cos of a difference to evaluate trigonometric functions without using a calculator. • Rewrite expressions involving products and differences of cosine and sine functions as trigonometric functions of single angles. • Evaluate trigonometric compound angles using special angles. • Simplify complex trigonometric expressions by applying reduction formulae and co-functions.
