• Identify the concept of number patterns and sequences in relation to prediction. • Describe the relationship between number patterns and functions. • Explain the concepts of arithmetic sequences, geometric sequences, sigma notation, arithmetic series, geometric series, and infinite series. • Apply an understanding of linear number patterns and quadratic sequences to solve problems. • Interpret the use of sigma notation in representing arithmetic and geometric series.
