• Solve linear equations by isolating the variable on one side of the equation. • Represent the solution to a linear equation on a number line. • Identify the method for solving linear inequalities as similar to that of solving linear equations. • Solve simple linear inequalities by isolating the variable and representing the solution on a number line. • Interpret the meaning of an open dot and a closed dot when representing solutions on a number line.
